Philips Infraphil 1945 - 2014
1946 - 1965 1966 - 1985 1986 - 2014
The Infraphil 7525 is the first Infraphil and it dates from 1946 or 1947. The Infraphil 7525 is equipped with a circular grip with which the angle of the lamp can be adjusted. The grip is chromium-plated. The lamp lacks a red filter making the use of eye-protectors necessary. The stand and the housing are both made of varnished plated aluminium. A circular black Philips logo is mounted on the varnished clamp that fixes the grip to the stand.
Philips Infraphil 7525
The stand of the Infraphil 7525N is made of unpainted bakelite. It has been sold in Australia. The grip is made of blank anodised aluminium. A gold-red coloured shield emblem is mounted the clamp that fixes the grip to the stand. Whether the red lamp on the image is original is not sure. A white lamp may have been mounted previously.
Philips Infraphil 7525N
The Infraphil 7526 dates from 1952 and is equipped with a lamp with an integrated red filter. To distinguish it from the Infraphil 7525, the Infraphil 7526 is referred to as "the red Infraphil". The grip is made of blank anodised aluminium. The stand and the housing are both made of varnished plated aluminium. A circular black Philips logo is mounted on a chromium plated clamp that fixes the grip to the stand. An adhesive foil with a gold-red coloured shield emblem is fixed on the stand.

Philips Infraphil 7529 type 3
The Infraphil 7529 is the most common model from the 752-series with a red anodised aluminium grip, a gold coloured anodised clamp for the grip and often a small additional clamp that can be swung out of the stand in order to fix the armature on the door of a cupboard. Its facing with two logos, one on the clamp and one on the stand, equals that of the Infraphil 7526.

Philips Infraphil KL2901
The Infraphil KL2901 is the low-cost successor of the 752-series. The socket holder is made of bakelite. The open construction is very manageable but leaves the lamp vulnerable for mechanical damage. An advantage of this implementation is the ease at which the infra red lamp can be replaced by a blended lamp for ultraviolet treatment. Both variants have been sold separately as well as in combination.
Philips Infraphil KL7500
This Infraphil KL7500 represents the basic design for the 1960's an 1970's. Made from cast aluminium it weighs more than one kilo and a half. For the first time pressed glass with an integrated Fresnel lens is applied. The lamp is fixed with a clamping ring that fits in a groove in the front of the armature. The trademark Philips is integrated in the grip, a foil with the Philips logo is adhered on top of armature. There is no further type indication on the armature.
The Australian version of the Infraphil KL7500, recognisable from its foot-caps and a differently shaped grip.
Philips Infraphil KL7500A
The British version of the Infraphil KL7500. Blue instead of the white with a beautiful chromium-plated frame and a typical British protection grid. This lamps weight is almost 2 kilogram in total.
Philips Infraphil KL7500 type 2
This is an intermediate between the original Infraphil KL7500 and the succeeding Infraphil HP3600 series. The clamping ring is no longer used and the Philips logo is, just as the Philips wordmark, integrated in the grip.
Philips Infraphil KL7500 type 3
For the Australian Infraphil KL7500 a version without clamping ring exists as well. The Philips logo is printed in black on top of the armature.
Philips Infraphil KL7500A type 2
The stand of this version of the Infraphil 7529 is made of some synthetic material. A gold-red coloured shield emblem is mounted the clamp that fixes the grip to the stand. It has been sold in Australia.
